hey tiger what up. i need some musical advice i want to exploer the art of dj as i am someone who just plays with random programs do yu think a dj mixer controller like something with knobs and the whole deal is on the one controller would be a good way to just play around ? or shoul di just go turntables straight up . what ya think

depends what you want to be, a dude playing on a toy controller, or a real dj. i'm gonna put this out there right now, you better respect the dj culture as a whole if you get into it, where it came from, people who pioneered it, and how you would be true to it. just because a controller is easier and can mix without you having to learn to beatmatch with your ears doesn't mean you take the easier way out. this is what separates the real dj's from the wack.
