mr solo dolo
so... talking about anti social, the watchmen isn't going to win feel good movie of the year anytime soon, and going to see it finally last night I overlooked that fact.
I was so excited to see the screen adaptation -___-.
great movie btw based on a great graphic novel. a bit hollywood, but it could have been much much worse.
Being me, the good son, that's 180 from the only other one, every privilege I receive comes with a supersized side order of GUILT. I don't get reminded until I reach for my meal, and after that, what's the meal worth to me anymore. I don't deserve it at all so why do they still dish it out? I don't get it at all. the irony of it all, parents acting like children.
they don't listen to a single word I have to say and bicker with one another, only to team up to fight the common enemy that is the good son in the family. the path of rooming with rock lee and holding off on cap for a year of self study shines a bit brighter today. sigh.
so instead of attempting to climb out of this rut, I choose to lay here for a bit seeing my circumstances are the way they are.
hello Liquid Swordz, 36 Chambers, and Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.
both Dr. Manhattan and Kid Cudi are right. outer space(mars & the moon) gets by fine without people.

sights&sounds/the sleepy battle
hands down one of the songs that would make my top 10 list. coincidence enough the music video does just as well. the entire thing is innocent, yet that heart sinking feeling is there. i'm sure everyone has been there, being the third wheel, and I really hate it sometimes.
getting a bit personal here but I was third wheel with a girl I was seeing and long story short, we ended up at the fireworks and she was giving me the cold shoulder and laughed at every stupid joke he made. later to find out she wasn't into him at all but did it to spite me and apologized. one of the worst nights of my life.
this video is so great because it's so tempting to get up and leave sometimes. run away with a friend(s) and never look back. also nice edit for when they pick up and instruments and play.
the video hits a soft note deep down and maybe thats why I love it so much. not to mention that funky bass riff.
what a bunk battle today. house battle? popping battle? locking battle? after 2 rounds it just looks the same zzZZzzz. wasn't in the mood for cyphering at all afterwards. at least theres next week!
gahh, lately i'm anti-social, can't stand people.
ps. if you notice the bills are CANADIAN, big up canada

at a loss for words
for some reason, I can't write what I want to. my mind isn't working with me tonight.
I post because I have thoughts floating in my head that I can't figure out and by putting them into words it lets me see them better. if that made any sense.
I gotta stop doing looking back and seeing what I was doing a year ago. It's getting me all depressed.
I got a long week to think about this one since she's in Europe (hah); Fight or flight? i'm still sick and tired of des femmes yet captivated by une fille.
I really miss my brother, and his phone hasn't worked for a week so we haven't talked. I'm starting to regret not getting a ticket, booking off the week and going off to montreal.
anyways, onward!
ps. my room is such a damn mess. which symbolizes my life quite well.

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
To be honest, I totally forgot Conan was leaving to take over for The Tonight Show for Jay Leno in '09. So I tuned in a couple weeks ago and watched Conan and he mentioned there was 10 more episodes left. I sat there thinking what the hell is going on, and for a minute I sat in dismay and confusion thinking Conan was leaving television 'till I realized he was just moving up in the late night talk show world.
Then later on I found out Jimmy Fallon was replacing Conan..... WITH IN-HOUSE BAND THE ROOTS!!!! wow. so Jimmy Fallon has been referred to as a "huge ball of suck" breaking character and whatnot on SNL. BUT THE ROOTS, wow. What a strange match up, it's like the Fugees reunion on the Vans Warped tour.
I'm rooting for jimmy, don't get me wrong. I hope he does well so I have something to watch at night and that he does the roots good for their rep.
I didn't watch last night's episode on tv(scheduled on blackberry incorrectly) but I prox'd NBC's streaming site and watched the entire thing. gotta say he was nervous, but it wasn't bad at all for a talk show debut, Conan himself wasn't funny for the first 3 years(and faced being cancelled several times), best said by mr. t. the show is greatly musically oriented, the roots were done gooood, referring to "Slow Jammin' the News". no shame there. he rambles on for a bit during the interview with De Niro, but Justin Timberlake gave a hilarious interview! some skits are hit or miss, but all in all a good start with a nice line up for the first week. santigold(note: thats santigold now, with an "i", santogold with an "O" is no longer.) is on tonight so I gotta peep that after some HC studiage.
anyways check it out on NBC at 12:35 tonight, channel 12 for vancouver.
all that tv production really makes me reminice about shaw. not really.
