youthful expressions

Wedsday night a good friend and I put together a movie night which included The Wackness and I had high expectations to have given it a movie night. In every way lived up to them. Score for the movie was great and wasn't just used to compensate for a bad movie or an awkward scene but went in harmony with the entire flick. Classic gems by krs1 & primo, biz, souls of mischief, a tribe called quest, biggie, all of it not letting you forget the movie took place in the golden age of hip hop.
Dialogue was witty and flowed nicely( lingo used was on point with '94, which seems to be the same vocabulary I use today go figure).
I personally can really vibe with the main character, Luke, who in the first ten minutes admits to having impure thoughts, trying to deal in nyc and dealing with what life throws at him. All and all i'm sold and enjoyed it. Two big namesthat appear in the movie are mary kate olsen( who plays a white hippy stoner chick) and method man( who plays a jamaican ganja dealer).

so yesterday, I was at ryans in the morning giving him a hand with his two HOODWARS posts for via and we were to take shots of the viking up ay bns. I rode his vitus( which is a speed demon) and he moja'd it. Taking pictures in the rain is a pain in the butt. While at north i checked up on my schedule and it goes;

day 1 is ace-it from 12:15 to 4:00,
day 2 is history, english, freeblock and lit,

but lit will be swapped for either photography, creative writing or worst case dance. On the way up to the councellsors you wouldn't believe what I see where the real vending machines used to be.. HEALTHY FOOD, and milk( because i don't see the health in drinking cow hormones) and remembered the junk food ban across bc. Now I have to load my locker with the good stuff and open up a blackmarket because fck no i'm munching on fruit loops and sippin chocolate milk during break, nor will I allow my fellow students to.
Drenched to the boxers by the time we get back to ryans and I dried off and got a ride to work.

Pictures of the technics and the setup after I can find a good enough table to set it on, and pictures of what i got planned for the viking first day back when i'm done.

the wackness

it was showing in vancouver recently, but effing rated r( in my case 'retarded'), as my wise film teacher mr byrne puts it "because some old granny in toronto decides it's too shocking for the virgin eyes of canada's youth".

anyways I got my hands on a copy and I'll attempt at a review afterwards.

ps. peep the letter I gots ^^

the nice guy..

having to walk home last night after driving a whole buncha people in my grade after a party and staying sober all at 1 in the morning, I realized, being jaded about being a nice guy and attempting to be jerk, won't work.

anyways, always a nice guy, always a nice guy.
thats me, brian vuudoo bringing it to you. *era era*

Whistler

I'm glad I decided to come up here. the air up here is so crisp and everything is great. Also when I get back I have my one twos to return to, me and peter did a morning rush to pick em up before I had to be at Pacific Central by noon and peter at work half past noon.

Thanks to ryan for pointing me to the right direction.
pictures of both expected when I get back ^^.

maybe

I hate being left behind, being that last kid up against the batting cage.

what I hate the most

...is feeling like a tool. Sure being a good friend, having a bit more patience, and having each other's back is one thing, but I hate being fucked over with zero remorse. I certainly feel like shit if I screw someone over, and will definitely make it up one way or another, and even moreso worse for those I don't realize I've screwed over. I only hope others have at least that consideration for those they can call friends.

Lately i've been contemplating quitting Horizons and leaving the restaurant game for serious this time. So much opportunity is to be had in Vancouver and I seize the day bussing tables. No doubt I still enjoy Horizons as much as I started but a feeling tells me I can do better someplace else.

back to my room to read the Kiterunner, rewatch Heroes or relax and chill out to that sweet rain out there

the heat

this is to call out to those who expect the world to come knocking at your door, when instead you should be chasing it down with a baseball bat;
What About You?

this heat is lovely.

for the record

a bunch things I remembered, maybe i'll get back to this topic later, but for the meantime this seemed the only logical way to put it;

goodbye 9months
seeyoulater sunday mornings
escovido gelato
later long stares
farewell drawing circles
sayonara waking up to the piano
adios cold hands
ciao live blockparty
nos vemos sticker pictures
au revoir home of the cougars
goodnight white chocolate mocha

PEACE out,
not that you care.
