july & me

we don't really get along. sad/bad/mad things happen to happen on this month, besides the endless sunshine and bountiful heat.

At least it's almost over. phew.

consequence

as of late, i've been spending lots of time alone and i've been looking at things from different angles.
something i've come to across is, like it or not, you reap what you sow.
may it be good or bad seeds you plant you're stuck with it. this is starting to sound a bit on the lines of karma, big difference is theres no easy way to undo the wrong. can't decide to donate to charity and hope other aspects of your life improve, if mistakes are made mistakes won't go away unless they're fixed, and usually they're a lot harder to fix than to make.

I've made tons of mistakes, planted plenty of bad seeds over the years, i'm trying to fix the wrong, but somethings will always be a bit broken. all I can really do is repent and not make the same mistakes.

life is a box

moving is a peculiar thing, seeing your entire household in a moving van(or 2). you sift through all your belongings and you start to think about the stuff you pack and their memories, some of it hurts and some of it brings smiles.
deep down I miss east van and i'm glad to be back. it's cool that the house my parents bought is a block away from the house they rented when they first came to vancouver over about 13 years ago, also where I have lots of memories as a kid.

the whole entire process of moving took 2 days, 2 trips of a moving van, and countless trips in the accord.

from this,

to that,
and then some.

(volume is a bit low so turn it up)

this song takes me back to the feeling of seeing the legendary roots crew was live. mosh pit aside, I'll never forget the show and for the rest of my life I can say I saw the roots perform live. what a wonderful feeling.

absolutely thrilled to say I am complete. besides Jito, my turntable setup is complete! I can practice, make mixes, experiment, do whatever my will, wills, sharpen my craft, expand my musical library and maybe even rock a party or two. all thanks to the wonderful pixy magic(and $500) that is SERATO.
